AP Drum Co. is dedicated to getting your gear to you safely and as-described. No nasty surprises, only pleasant ones. However, stuff happens and when it does we want to help resolve the issue as best we can.
Domestic shipping:
- Our website store is currently only able to accept orders for the continental U.S. However, we do have the ability to ship to most countries via Reverb.com, eBay.com, or privately negotiated sales through PayPal goods and services. To request international shipping, please email the item name and number as well as your address to apdrumco@gmail.com.
- Most orders ship within 48 business hours after verification. Payment must clear before an item is shipped. We ship orders Monday through Friday. We do not ship on Saturday, Sunday, or holidays.
- Except for very lightweight items that ship USPS, domestic orders ship via UPS Ground with tracking information.
- To request expedited shipping, please contact us prior to your order. Expedited shipping will incur additional costs.
- All shipments require a physical street address (no PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses).
- Heavy and oversized items may incur additional shipping charges.
- It is important to us to keep costs low and waste at a minimum, therefore we re-use packaging when appropriate.
- Our shipping rates are calculated based on average weights and sizes for each type of product (snares, stands, cymbals, etc.) as well as average distances. If you would like to purchase multiple items at the same time, please contact us at apdrumco@gmail.com for a custom shipping quote. Shipping discounts can also be achieved through a partial refund if an order for multiple items is placed prior to shipping adjustments.
- Free shipping promotions apply only to the lower 48 United States.
- No Signature Required: By default, all shipments are sent with No Signature Required.
- If you have concerns about the safety of your shipment, please contact us PRIOR to purchasing. We can have your order shipped with Direct Signature Required.This may result in additional charges. If multiple delivery attempts are required, any additional shipping charges are the responsibility of the purchaser. If a package is returned to us as undeliverable, the outbound shipping charges will not be eligible for a refund.
Lost or stolen Packages:
- Packages shipped with No Signature Required will be delivered at or near an entrance to the delivery address. AP Drum Co is not responsible for any packages that have been lost or stolen after the point of delivery.
- In the event of a lost, stolen, or damaged package AP Drum Co will verify the shipping details with the carrier. However, we will not be able to refund, reimburse, or resend packages that are lost, damaged, delayed, or stolen.
Insurance:
- All packages are insured for the value of the items held within.
Shipping / Damage Claims:
In the event that you receive a damaged item or package, please CONTACT US. Please take pictures of the original packaging, highlighting any noticeable damage to the outer shipping boxes, and also any damage to the goods themselves. Please retain all items and original packaging until all insurance claims or investigations are completed. Items returned before any investigation is completed will forfeit all possible damage claims or reimbursements.
- Claims for damaged or missing items in transit must be received within two business days of receipt of merchandise.
- Reimbursements or product replacements will not be issued until a shipping insurance investigation has been completed. The customer must cooperate with the carrier in order to complete a shipping insurance investigation (provide images, allow the shipping company to physically investigate the shipment). The shipping claim process can take several weeks.
- If a customer receives a shipment from AP Drum Co and then forwards the package(s) to a third party (ex: a freight forwarding company), AP Drum Co is in no way responsible for damages, lost goods, claims, or import fees of any kind.
Returns & Exchanges:
AP Drum Co only stocks a small amount of new inventory. However, we want you to be happy with your purchase. Any new stock item that does not meet your expectations can be returned within 7 business days of delivery for a refund, credit, or exchange.
To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it with no signs of use, wear, stick marks, or fingerprints. It must also be in the original packaging with all accessories, documentation (manuals, CDs, instructions, warranty cards, etc.) and the original receipt. Upon our receipt of the item at AP Drum Co, credit will be applied to your account according to the form of the original payment.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the initial outbound shipping will be deducted from your refund.
- Our free shipping promotion is applicable with purchase only. If your order qualifies for free shipping and you choose to return it, the original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund or credit.
- All returned items are the responsibility of the purchaser until received at AP Drum Co. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item. We suggest using a reputable shipper that provides tracking information and insuring the package for the original purchase price.
The following items are exempt from returns or exchanges:
- Sale or clearance items, custom orders, and non-stock items are not eligible for return or exchange.
- Drumheads that have been played or seated on a drum are not eligible for return or exchange.
- Vintage or used equipment is not eligible for return or exchange.
- Perishable goods are not eligible for return or exchange.
Returns for items that are different than advertised :
We inspect all of our used gear prior to listing and again before it is shipped. However, in the event the item arrives in a condition different than advertised (ex: we missed a crack on a cymbal or a damaged area on a drum in the original listing), AP Drum Co will issue a return label via email. Please contact us at apdrumco@gmail.com within 48 hours of receipt to report an issue. The item must be returned in the same condition it was received and in the original packaging. A refund will be issued once the item is returned to AP Drum Co.
In the event the wrong item is shipped, please contact us to report the issue and we will send a return label via email. If we are not able to send the correct item a full refund will be issued.
AP Drum Co reserves the right to limit or suspend the return privileges for anyone we believe to be abusing return privileges with excessive returns or deception (i.e. intentionally damaging products to get a refund). We typically photograph outgoing shipments for reference.
Exchanges:
We only replace stock items and only if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at apdrumco@gmail.com.
Warranties:
- Due to the nature of used and vintage gear we cannot offer any warranties or guarantee against future damage or defects.
- AP Drum Co. does not offer extended store coverage or warranties.
International Orders & Shipping:
- Our website store is currently only able to accept orders for the lower 48 United States. - Payment: We only accept payment through PayPal goods and services for orders shipped outside the United States. Orders are only shipped to the address used with your PayPal payment. AP Drum Co will not ship to a different shipping address.
- Customs Duties, Taxes and Tariffs: Most international orders incur customs duties, taxes, and/or tariffs. AP Drum Co is not responsible for payment of these fees, nor are we able to estimate what these fees may be. Please contact your local customs office to determine any fees you will be responsible to pay to receive your order. For insurance and legal reasons, we cannot declare an item as a gift or declare a value less than the actual amount of the item.
- Undeliverable Shipments: Please be aware that refusal of delivery, for any reason, may result in the items being returned to AP Drum Co. Should this happen, any charges or fees incurred will be deducted from any pending refund. These deductions may include return shipping charges, unpaid taxes and customs fees, as well as a restocking fee.
- Insurance: All packages are insured for the value of the items held within.
- International Claims: In the event of a damage claim we will follow all guidelines and procedures laid out by the carrier used. Due to the complex nature of international business, AP Drum Co cannot be responsible for replacement shipping charges.
- If a customer receives a shipment from AP Drum Co and then forwards the package(s) to a third party, AP Drum Co is in no way responsible for damages, lost goods, claims, or import fees of any kind.
